Over the last two decades, Nate has held strategic leadership roles in the creative departments of Technocel, Pharmavite, and Bolthouse Farms. With this experience, he’s gained extensive CPG, packaging, and marketing knowledge across a wide array of categories, such as consumer electronics, health & wellness, and premium beverage. He was integral in developing and managing the visual identities of each organization’s in-house brands, overseeing major rebranding efforts of global household names, such as Nature Made Vitamins, TYLT, and Bolthouse Farms. With these brands, Nate oversaw all aspects of design, including packaging, advertising, photo & video shoots, web design, trade shows, and all kinds of marketing collateral, ensuring that every piece of creative was cohesive and on-point. He is passionate about managing and mentoring talented in-house graphic design teams, as well as fostering relationships with agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.
Considering the incredible advancements with AI and creative software, Nate believes having a background in and an appreciation for fine arts is what truly sets the graphic designer apart from the masses. College studies in drawing, painting, printmaking, and photography set the foundation for a successful career in creative direction that is still steaming ahead decades later. Whether it's exploring Pollock-style drip painting at home in his studio or giving critical and precise direction on a packaging die line at the office, Nate has a passion for art and is always looking for new ways to express creativity.
